st. patrick's day allows for lots of fun!
Make Leprchaun Traps!
Whether your child already has made one or not...more leprechaun traps can always be fun.
All you need is an empty box, other recyclable materials, leftover craft supplies, and some tape.
We enjoy things from around the house like cans, toilet paper/paper towel rolls, jar lids, anything green/sparkly/shiny/rainbow.
For Parents:
Make everything green with food coloring!
Water, toilet bowls, anything you can think of can be turned green,
Kids absolutely LOVE this!
Leprechauns like to be tricky and make messes and move things around. Have some FUN!

SCIENCE ACTIVITY
Make green or rainbow volcanoes!
All you need is some baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring.
If you make them in small containers, the fun can go on for a while!
I always like to throw in a little bit of science, too, and teach the kids that these are chemical reactions (when two or more things come together to make something new!).
Other fun ideas:
Finger paint shamrock shaped paper
Paint or color rainbows
Follow a trail of glitter to a treasure in the backyard
Green sidewalk chalk outside
story, finger play, music & movement
STORY:
Listen to the Story for FREE Here:
Music: Find leprechaun songs, Irish jig music, etc and have fun dancing!
Finger Play: Do Your Ears Point Up?
Have lots of green and sparkly fun!
xoxo, Jennifer
