Learning to read can be fun!
After we teach the kids all the letter sounds through songs and games, we get to move on to beginning reading skills!

First, we introduce the children to words that start with each letter.
The children enjoy seeing the different things that start with the letters, acting out yoga poses for them, and making up their own body movements for the words.
And once you start this, you can also begin helping the kids to find things all around that start with each letter, too!

All of our letter word cards are included in our Reading and Full Curriculum, along with instructions and games for how to use them.
There are so many great games to play with these!
Once the kids master all the letter sounds, and these cards, it is time to read.
We begin introducing sight words and working on BOB Books (my favorite beginning readers).
In our class, we keep reading so FUN that kids line up for their turn to practice reading with the teachers.
