The cards make it easy to practice the song, names, sounds, and to play many "name the sound/letter" games!

In our local preschool, we like to introduce the kids to one letter at a time, then practice the whole song for a while so they can take their time learning them with plenty of review.

As we introduce the letters, we like to do some letter "yoga" where the kids get to act out things that begin with each letter too.  Over the years, I've learned that kids are most successful with remembering the names and sounds when they move and sing :)

Once they know the names and sounds fairly well, then we play many fun review games until they REALLY know them!

WE SHARE MANY FUN GAMES KIDS LOVE WITH YOU IN EITHER PROGRAM ABOVE!

next, we help them transition to just the letters (without the pictures) with plain letter cards or OUR BIG ALPHABET FELT sheet and our You Are My Sunshine Letter sounds song

I just used a large piece of white felt and some puffy paints for ours to make it bright and colorful and kid-friendly.  You can use anything you like to make your own!
